Oyo Police slaughter three scoundrels in shootout



The Oyo State Police Command said three thieves were murdered amid a trade of firearm flame with some of its men along the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode street amid a burglary operation.

The hooligans were said to have assaulted Mr Jayeola Olawuyi and his wife, who ran into their trap along the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode street around 11pm on Thursday around Idi-Ayunre,.

Fortunes however ran out on the burglars as policemen from the Oyo State Command hurried to the
scene in the wake of getting a misery approach the exercises of the thieves.

Tending to writers in Ibadan, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Olakunle Ajisebutu, who talked in the interest of the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mohammadu Katsina, said adornments, firearms and different weapons were recouped from the thieves.

He approached healing centers and general society to be watchful for anybody with firearm wounds, who may be searching for help.

He said, "Three individuals from a group of vagrant thrill seeker outfitted thieves that had threatened brokers, suburbanites and other street clients in the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode hub of Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan were killed on Thursday. They had damaged pure subjects and seized them of their well deserved cash and different assets.

"Two wooden weapons, wrapped with dark cello-tape, a cutlass, gold gems, some money and two lights were recouped from the criminals. Our men succeeded in executing three of them amid a firearm duel while others got away with shot injuries.
