Sambo initiates distribution of N9.2bn cooking stoves


VP Namadi Sambo on Tuesday managed a short service intended to initiate the appropriation of 750,000 units of clean cooking stoves and 18,000 marvel packs obtained by the active organization.

The Federal Executive Council had, in November 2014, affirmed the buy of N9.2billion worth of clean cooking stoves and miracle packs for provincial ladies under the National Clean Cooking Scheme.

Sambo, who spoke to President Goodluck Jonathan, was charged to begin the circulation of the things to country ladies who were penciled down as the recipients of the plan.

Yet, the Vice President only revealed a couple of the things in plain view at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, amid the brief occasion that endured around 20 minutes.
