'Danfo' driver in trouble for biting policewomen in Lagos [SEE PHOTO]



Oluwaya Eshe, a 28-year-old Lagos business transport (Danfo) driver, is stuck in an unfortunate situation after he was captured and charged to court for supposedly beating and gnawing two policewomen who attempted to stop him while driving against activity.

The female officers, Omowumi Aliu and Adebisi Bamiu, were said to be on obligation around the Isheri Oshun territory of the state when they hailed Eshe for conflicting with movement along the Ikotun-Ijegun street. They caught him and endeavored to seize his transport and take it to their station.

In any case, the exasperated Eshe would not know about it as he began trading words with them, which later heightened to a fisticuff.

The driver supposedly tore the officers' regalia and bit Bamiu on her hand, harming her all the while. Other male officers needed to surge down to the scene and commandingly limit him from further striking the ladies.

He was summoned before Magistrate J. O. E. Adeyemi of the Ejigbo Customary Court on charges verging on attack, tearing of police uniform and a human nibble under the Criminal Code.

He argued not blameworthy and Magistrate Adeyemi allowed him safeguard in the aggregate of N100,000 with one surety in like total.
