Two Arik Air planes supposedly brushed one another on Monday, October 19, as they were moving out of the smock at the General Aviation Terminal, GAT, of Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
The wing tips of the planes were harmed and have been grounded.
The representative for the aircraft, Mr. Adebanji Ola, affirmed the mischance in an announcement.
The announcement read: "Two of our air ship, Boeing 737-800NG were this evening (yesterday) included in a wing-tip brush at the General Aviation Terminal, GAT, of Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.
"One of the air ship, 5N-MJP, was marshaled out of the slope for a planned flight, when its wing brushed that of another flying machine, 5N-MJQ, stopped on the incline.
"There were no rates as the security of travelers was not endangered. We have grounded the two air ship and are investigating the episode."
Likewise, a late mischance had happened at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2, MMA2, where two flying machine fitting in with FirstNation Airways were included in a ground impact.
